Our story

Trigo is based on a desire to help people make good choices for their own health and quality of life. We are now an international team with very different backgrounds and expertise, but this basic idea is strong in all of us.

Our Story

Our journey started in Hardanger

From I to WE

“Trigo is the result of years of working with people. I started as a sports coach when I was 13 years old and was early concerned with the joy of movement, mastery experiences and the need to build the conditions to make progress. And the value of having to work on challenges and then experience the joy of success. Already as a 17-year-old, I also had the opportunity as a course teacher to pass on to other coaches what I thought was important in meetings with children and young people. I took that experience and attitude with me and further developed as a physiotherapist and as a coach.

I have met many people in different situations, ranging from patients in clinics to football players in SK Brann and handball players in Fana Elite. I have experienced many sunshine stories, often of people with small changes significantly improving their quality of life. At the same time, I have often felt frustrated that many people could have had a much better life if they had handled it in a different way, often with small changes. But I also know how hard it can be. Therefore, I have spent a lot of time finding simple, hopefully more affordable solutions so that it will be easier to make better choices.

Although many circumstances affect our lives, how we feel is much based on the choices we make. And I think it has a value to have control and take responsibility for your own health and development,

A few years ago, I found that I wanted to reach out to more people with my experiences and values. To help more people take a more active role around their own health and thus have a better life. And at the same time to solve some challenges and frustrations for my physiotherapy colleagues and people in the sports world. ‘

I saw opportunities in using technology, but with very limited expertise, I needed to bring in skilled people in various areas. After a somewhat tortuous path, I finally found the direction and people who could help realize the dream.”
